Poco a Poco x Epworth Community Services

Poco a Poco is a programme that aims to bring music to underprivileged children and youth through long-term music lessons. Beneficiaries often face barriers that limit their access to musical learning. We aim to bridge this gap by allowing them to explore and play a musical instrument. Music plays a key role in development and everyone should have the right to experience it.

YouthHarmony returned to Epworth HomeSweetHome to conduct seven sessions of cajon lessons for 7 at-risk children. Throughout the sessions, the children were exposed to musical lessons, jam sessions, music theory, and more. We have received feedback that it was a great programme and the residents loved it, and we cannot wait to be back again next year!
